I thought it may be helpful to provide the shopping list I posted in May, but updated a little.  Hope this helps everyone. 🙂

Lamberts Vitamin C-Time 1500 mg

Lamberts Vitamin C-Time 1500 mg

1 x Lamberts (Professional Range) Vitamin C Time Release 1500mg w/Bioflavonoids

I used this brand of Vitamin C the first time I went on the Cura Romana protocol – it was recommended by Leslie Kenton.

It’s an excellent product.  You can purchase it online at the NutriCentre.

Bio Health Pure Senna

2 x Bio Health Senna Leaf  400 mg Powdered Senna Leaf Vegan Capsules

I found this Senna to be excellent and it is completely pure too, nothing else added.  Leslie Kenton will guide you with regard to dose … it’s very individual.  I took 2 capsules mostly.

Again, you can purchase this Senna online by visiting the linked page at The NutriCentre.

Solgar Psyllium Husks Fibre Capsules 500 mg

Solgar Psyllium Husks Fibre Capsules 500 mg

1 x Solgar Psyllium Husks Fibre x 500 mg (2 or 3 capsules per day)

Solgar is  really good, high quality brand and you will be able to adjust the intake you have, according to Leslie Kenton’s recommendations.

You can purchase these from the Nutricentre.

Kingfisher Natural Toothpaste

Kingfisher Natural Toothpaste

1 x Tube Kingfisher Soda Toothpaste

I found that this toothpaste was excellent.  Most of the ‘whitening’ toothpastes use baking soda as the ingredient for whitening, so all I can tell you is that this was great!

Again, you’ll find this online at the NutriCentre.

Faith in Nature Hemp and Meadowfoam Shampoo

Faith in Nature Hemp and Meadowfoam Shampoo

Faith in Nature Hemp and MeadowFoam Shampoo

This shampoo was really beautiful to use.  I have dry hair that is colour treated, and this really was wonderful.

Again … NutriCentre has it.

Faith in Nature Ginkgo Biloba Conditioner

Faith in Nature Ginkgo Biloba Conditioner

Faith in Nature Ginkgo Biloba Conditioner

If you prefer, there is a Hemp and Meadowfoam condition, I just chose this one for myself.

Available again at the NutriCentre.

Crystal Deodorant Stick

Crystal Deodorant Stick

I used the Crystal Deodorant Stick.  It takes a bit of getting used to, but it lasts for absolutely ages!

I purchased this at the NutriCentre local store … you will find NutriCentres in the UK are linked with the larger Tesco stores.  I haven’t found this on their online store, although there are other similar products if you look.

So there you are … the complete list really.  The only other item I had was “Smooth Move Tea” by “Traditional Medicinals”.  This was recommended by Leslie Kenton.

Traditional Medicinals ~ Smooth Move Tea

Traditional Medicinals ~ Smooth Move Tea

I’m not 100% certain where I purchased this, but it is available online in the UK.  You can purchase it online here.

If I think of anything else, I’ll put up another post.

William Bouguereau ~ La leçon difficile (The Difficult Lesson) 1884

William Bouguereau ~ La leçon difficile (The Difficult Lesson) 1884

My Cura Romana ‘voyage’ is certainly opening up all sorts of emotions and deep thinking.  Yesterday, I was in a position where I went to a lovely lady’s birthday party.  It was in the late afternoon and I fully intended to have my dinner when I returned home.  My husband then announced that there was a buffet there.

So …. we arrive at said party.  We were very honoured to have been invited as we were the only people there who weren’t family.  Anyway, when we arrived I was offered Wine and I said “Thank you, but no thank you, I’m not drinking alcohol at the moment”.  So that was okay and I happily drank my way through 1 1/2 litres of water.

Then … there was food.  I had tuna in spring water and cherry tomatoes waiting at home, but despite me saying “no thank you, I’m following a special diet”, the unanimous response was, “Well you can eat salad, there’s lots of it” … “Tuck in”.

I felt so awkward saying “No” ~ so I relented and put a small amount of salad on my plate and realised there was dressing on it.  Then I put two thin slices of smoked salmon on.  I did eat the salmon, but felt so cross with myself!  I put the salad in the bin and wondered why on earth I hadn’t asserted myself?

I just don’t like being horrid or ungrateful to people, or offending them.  I’m always trying to be ‘nice’ and kind.  Why?

Well … thankfully after receiving a very helpful voice email from Leslie Kenton, I can now view today as a ‘new day’ and recognise that it’s okay to be assertive and do what you must do.  It’s about habit isn’t it and being a giver all the time.  Well, I won’t make that mistake again, I can tell you.

However, for any of you who are following the Cura Romana protocol, please don’t bash yourself up like I did if you have a ‘silly day’.  It’s not the end of the world and I’ve learned something very useful from the experience too. 🙂

Hooray!  Lost another 1 kilo and feel fantastic.

For those of you out there who may be contemplating Cura Romana and contacting Leslie, I can honestly say …. please make the call.  I cannot believe the difference in the way I feel in 5 days.  To be honest it is somewhat confusing and also a little mind-boggling – I have a huge amount of stress in my life that was really pulling me down … it’s as though it has evaporated into thin air. How?

Truthfully, I don’t know.  All I know is that Jackie is feeling really fantastic too and we’re not feeling hungry in between our meals, it all just seems pretty easy.

I have noticed that I am really tasting every flavour fully ~ my tastebuds are on a little journey of their own!  I feel alert, very strong in my mind, focused and determined.  It’s as though the ‘cogs’ have all clicked together to start working in perfect motion.
